The station is made of cherry with a curly cherry top, a quilted maple drawer front and quartersawn sycamore for the vise/tool arms and base for spool storage. The spools are kept on 3/16" brass rod. New Fly Tying Space In category Fly Fishing Written by Large Sums of Money I've been tying recently in a crowded corner in my basement (finished at least) surrounded by piles of junk. To say I was gettign claustrophobic is an understatement. I was also constantly losing stuff and finding it behind boxes, or well, you know the drill. Well, I finally have a new dedicated room for my fly tying!!! I am so excited I can't contain myself... be right back. OK, feel better
